Everyone had already decided she was the cold one, the cruel one, the villain of her own story. This is the climb all the way back up.
Who she is
The cold was always armour. We knew. We always knew.
The cold is armour, not cruelty — that part we'd defend in court. Under it: guilt that eats her. Elain in the Cauldron. Her father, and Hybern. She never forgave herself for either. Never the villain. The one who feels too much and called it a flaw. Same.
Her power · Pure death
Ice that burns. Of course it does.
Cold silver fire. She didn't get the Cauldron's power — she took it. Tore a kernel of it out: "something precious… she ripped it out with her teeth." Most of us would've asked nicely. Not her.

From the spiral, up.
Everyone had already decided what Nesta was — the cold one, the cruel one, the villain of her own story, and no one was surer of it than her. What follows is the long climb down into that spiral and all the way back up out of it: the sharpest Archeron becoming the Lady of Death on her own terms, and swearing — never again — to be made less.

All three. Only her. We'd be smug too.
Three relics the Cauldron made — Mask, Harp, Crown. She's the only being alive who can summon all three. The most powerful objects in their world answer to the woman everyone underestimated.
