A transparent look at where we’re at, what’s changing, and what it means for you—whether you’ve already ordered or you’re thinking about it.


First up – if you’ve placed an order recently:
Thank you. Truly. We’re in the middle of a big (and beautiful) behind-the-scenes shift to set us up for everything this next chapter is asking of us.

Right now, we’re sitting at around a 5-6 week fulfillment window.
If you ordered after February 10th, your order is in the system, safe, and being handled with care by our small (but mighty) team.

We’re working through everything manually at the moment, which means:

  • Nothing is lost
  • Nothing is forgotten
  • You will receive your magical parcel soon

And now… let’s talk about what’s really going on behind the scenes.


We outgrew our old model—in the best way.

In the past 12 months, Caffeine & Curses grew faster than we expected (thanks to you, book lovers). And while that’s incredible, our old made-to-order system just couldn’t give us the support we needed to fulfill orders and scale our team at the same time.

This transition to a new system is a big moment for us. One we’re doing with intention—so that everything we make moving forward is smoother, faster, and even more magical for you.


So what’s changing?

  • We’re shifting from 100% made-to-order to stock-based production for our bestsellers
  • This means: faster fulfilment, improved consistency, and higher quality
  • It allows us to staff properly, support our customers better, and say yes to all the exciting things coming next
  • It also unlocks our ability to work with select bookstores and retailers (yep, it’s happening)

If you’re new here or thinking about ordering:

You’re catching us in a rare in-between moment—one where we’re upgrading everything to serve our community better.

If you’ve been eyeing something, yes—we’re still open and fulfilling orders. You’re absolutely welcome here. Just keep in mind that delivery will take a little longer while we finish this transition. But when your parcel arrives? It’ll be worth the wait.
