Priestess of Sangravah. Beheaded before her sister's eyes when Hybern fell on the temple. The wound under everything Gwyn carries. We never got over it either.

Two of them. Priestesses at Sangravah, raised together. Then Hybern came, and Catrin was beheaded in front of Gwyn — the one loss that broke something and made the rest happen. The Library. The Blood Rite. All of it grows out of this. We're not elaborating.
