The Thousand Libraries
“A thousand libraries — rumoured to hold the knowledge of the world.”
The Thousand Libraries · The Day Court
Where Prythian keeps everything it remembers.
A thousand libraries in Helion's sun-drenched realm — the Day Court's vast reservoir of magic, history and lore, kept by the court most gifted in spell-work of any in Prythian.

The shape of the archive.
The place · A thousand rooms of light
Knowledge kept in the sun.
The Day Court does not hoard its learning in shadow. Its libraries number a thousand, a whole realm given over to the patient work of remembering. Its people are the most gifted in spell-work of any court in Prythian, and the lore those workings rest on is set down and kept here rather than left to slip into legend. It is the closest thing Prythian has to a single, vast memory of the world, and the Fae speak of the place the way mortals speak of myth: as the archive said to hold the knowledge of the world.
The keeper · A scholar on the throne
The most powerful mage among the High Lords.
The thousand libraries answer to Helion, Spell-Cleaver and High Lord of the Day Court — the most gifted at raw magic and spell-work of any High Lord in Prythian. An archive is only as deep as the mind that can read it, and in Helion the Day Court has a steward who wears his learning like sunlight: a High Lord whose power is, before anything else, knowledge.
