The man who turns Violet from a girl who throws lightning and hopes into someone who wields it on purpose. Quiet, technical, rune-and-glass — and the reason the revolution can charge the alloy that kills venin. Not flashy. Just load-bearing.
A member of the Assembly and Violet's power-wielding mentor: control first, then conduits. Canon keeps him spare, so this card does too — but what little it gives him is the difference between a dangerous cadet and a weapon that works.
The mentor · Teaching the storm to aim
Power is nothing until it's controlled.
Violet's signet is enormous and, early on, roughly as safe to stand near as a live wire — and Felix is the one who fixes that. He's the patient, technical teacher who takes a dangerous lightning-thrower and builds a controlled power-wielder, the kind who can put the strike exactly where it's needed instead of everywhere at once. It isn't glamorous work. It's the work that keeps her alive and turns her from a hazard into an army's best weapon.
The conduit · The material edge
He charges the thing that kills them.
Felix's other job is quieter and just as decisive: his conduits let the revolution store and channel the charge that finishes the venin-killing alloy. The luminary makes the heat, the forge makes the blade — and Felix's work is in the chain that makes the blade lethal. He's a linchpin who never gets a hero shot, which is very on brand for the people this series actually runs on. A footnote you'd miss on a fast read and can't win the war without — which is, precisely, the size the story cut him to.
