Lady of the Winter Court · The Warmth in the Frost
Viviane
In a court carved from ice, she is the hearth that refuses to go out.
Lady of Winter, mate to High Lord Kallias, and the bell-laugh that survived Hybern — Viviane wears frost like a crown and warmth like a second skin.

The Winter Lady
Who she is
Snowfall, warmed
Viviane is Lady of the Winter Court — tall and frost-graceful, white-blonde and ice-blue, crowned in snow-roses and mantled in fox-fur. But the Winter Court's cold never reached her. Where her court is silver-pine and frozen lake, she is the hearth-glow inside the palace: a bell-laugh, an apple-blossom warmth, the one season of her that the snow could not still. She carries frost-magic small enough to bloom an ice-flower and a heart large enough to thaw the room it enters.
The mate and the friend
Two bonds that held
Two threads anchor her. The first is Kallias, High Lord of Winter and her mate — for him her voice softens to something tender, the bell-laugh turning low and private. The second is Morrigan of the Night Court, her oldest friend; the bridge between Winter and Velaris runs through the two of them. When the war against Hybern demanded that the courts stop circling one another and stand together, Viviane was part of why Winter answered.
Why she matters
Proof warmth survives
In a saga full of High Ladies forged in fire and grief, Viviane is the rarer thing: warmth that was never broken into being. She fights only when she must — an ice-blade drawn never gladly — and her power in the story is less the frost in her hands than the refusal to let her court become as cold as its weather. She is the living argument that softness is not weakness, even in the most unforgiving court in Prythian.
