Reading Notes · Sarah J Maas
Can't get the US Sarah J Maas collection where you live?
The short answer
The big new A Court of Thorns and Roses collection was built around US stores, so outside the US most of us only saw it on our feeds. But Sarah J Maas merch isn't US-only. Caffeine and Curses is officially licensed for ACOTAR, Throne of Glass and Crescent City worldwide, ships to the UK, Canada, Australia, Europe and everywhere else, and shows prices in your own currency.
I'm writing this from Australia, so I watched it the same way most of us did. On my phone. In the wrong time zone.
A whole ACOTAR collection, timed to A Court of Splintered Harmony, with midnight release parties in around 250 US stores. People lining up at midnight for Velaris? Honestly, that's the dream, and I hope every single one of them had the best night.
But being left out of something in your own fandom isn't fair, and I'm not going to pretend it is. It was built around US stores. The rest of us got the highlights reel.
You don't have to sit this one out
Here's the bit I actually want you to know. Our licence with Sarah J Maas isn't tied to one country. It covers the whole world, and all three of her worlds: A Court of Thorns and Roses, Throne of Glass and Crescent City.
That big collection is ACOTAR only. Throne of Glass and Crescent City weren't in it at all, so if your heart lives in Terrasen or Lunathion, we've been here the whole time. (Mine's Terrasen. It's always Terrasen.)
We're a small Australian business, here since January 2021, and every design is drawn in-house. No queue, no midnight alarm. Pyjamas encouraged.
How it actually gets to you
We have print and stock partners in several countries, and your order ships from whichever one is closest to you. If something can't come from near you, it ships from the USA instead. From near you, it's usually 3–10 business days once it's on its way.
And the prices are in your own money. The UK, Canada, Australia and Europe each have their own store, so there's no currency maths at 1am.
Where I'd start
One from each world, plus one for the people who refuse to pick.
A Court of Thorns and RosesFeyre's Tattoo SweatshirtFeyre's tattoo on a sweatshirt made for rereading all six books back to back. Yes, all six.
Throne of GlassManon Blackbeak SweatshirtHer Thirteen would follow her anywhere. Still the one I'd pick first.
Crescent CityCrescent City Otters T-ShirtThe otters ran half of Lunathion's messages and never got a thank you. Consider this the thank you.
All three worldsMaasverse T-ShirtAll three worlds on one tee. For those of us who refuse to choose (or tried, and failed).
If none of those are it, the whole Sarah J Maas range is in your store too.
Velaris has never once checked anyone's postcode. Just saying.
The practical bits
How long will my order take to reach me?
It ships from our partner closest to you, and from near you it's usually 3–10 business days once it's shipped. If something can't come from near you, it ships from the USA instead.
Will I pay in my own currency?
Yes. The UK, Canada, Australia and Europe each have their own store. A tee is £27 in the UK, CA$51 in Canada and A$49.99 in Australia.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
Some countries charge import fees when a parcel arrives. Those are set by your country, not by us.
What if it doesn't fit?
You've got 14 days to return or exchange it. We'll offer store credit first, and if you'd rather have a refund, that's completely fine.
Prices were correct at the time of writing.
