Where she comes from

She survived the house she was born in.

Illyrian, raised in Windhaven under a father who clipped her wings and worse. He's dead now; the shop is hers. She runs it with her sleeves rolled — the rare Illyrian female who owns her own trade. We noticed.

What she became

They threw three women into the Rite. Two summited.

Drugged and dumped into the Blood Rite by traditionalist males who wanted to teach them a lesson. She climbed Ramiel on a body that couldn't fly and touched the sacred stone. First Illyrian female ever named Carynthian. The lesson landed differently than they planned.
