Priestess · Founding Valkyrie · The Night Court
Gwyn Berdara
“I am the rock against which the surf crashes. Nothing can break me.”
Gwyn, at the ribbon · A Court of Silver Flames
She wouldn't leave the library. Then she cut the ribbon first.
Priestess in the library under the House of Wind. Three-quarters High Fae, a quarter river-nymph. She found the Valkyries in a book and then went and became one. Her hair glows when she sings. Of course it does.

What she loves
Music first.
Singing
The dusk services were her favourite part of Sangravah, and when she sings her hair and skin give off a light. Nesta noticed before anyone said it.
Books
What Merrill writes, mostly, and adventures. Then Nesta and Emerie lent her the other kind. She read them.
Bracelets
Thread and little charms full of wishes. The wish comes true when the bracelet falls off. She learned it with her sister.
Her sisters
Nesta and Emerie. She would have died beside Nesta on the bridge rather than be carried off it. Nesta didn't give her the choice.
