The Dawn Court · The Winged Folk
The Peregryns
“The winged warriors of the Dawn Court — Thesan's people, and the guard at his back.”
The Dawn Court · A Court of Wings and Ruin
The winged folk of the Dawn Court.
Thesan's own people — his guard and his fighters — among the few winged peoples of Prythian, who stood with the allied courts in the war against Hybern.

The people · Wings of the Dawn Court
Thesan's own.
The Dawn Court keeps winged warriors — Thesan's guard and his fighters, the people at his back. In Prythian they are a rarity: beyond the Illyrians of the Night Court, winged folk are rare among the peoples of Prythian. Where the Illyrians are forged hard in the brutal mountains of Windhaven and the Blood Rite, the Dawn Court's winged folk belong to softer mountain light — the court whose name is the first hour of the day.
In the war · Standing with the courts
When the alliance held.
When the war against Hybern came to Prythian, the Dawn Court did not stand apart. Thesan brought his people into the alliance against the King of Hybern. Among those closest to him was the captain of his guard — Thesan's lover, a winged warrior who stood with him through the war.
