The Dawn Court · Captain of Thesan's Guard

The Captain of Thesan's Guard

The one who stands at the High Lord's shoulder — and at his side.

A winged warrior, captain of the Dawn Court guard, and the male Thesan loves. During the war against Hybern, the bond between the quiet High Lord and the warrior who serves him is plain to anyone who watches.

The captain

Guard and beloved.

He is one of the winged folk of the Dawn Court, and the captain of Thesan's guard — the male who keeps the High Lord of Dawn safe and whom Thesan keeps closest of all. When the courts of Prythian gather against Hybern, the nearness between the quiet High Lord and the warrior who serves him is plain to anyone who looks: an easy, devoted closeness that Feyre marks among the gathered courts.

In the war

Steady through it.

Where Thesan is mild-mannered and slow to anger among the squabbling High Lords, his captain stands at his back. They do not hide what they are to each other, and in a court named for first light their devotion reads like something older and gentler than the war closing in around them.
