Merrill keeps to the deeper levels — absorbed, particular, not interested in your feelings about the deadline. Gwyn assists her, one of the small ordinary threads the sanctuary gave the priestesses who needed a place to land. Quiet, steady, the kind of work that holds you together while the rest of you mends. For a while it was the whole point.
