Clotho's right hand in the library beneath the House of Wind. Obsessed with other worlds stacked on top of ours, then with the Valkyries, whose history she was writing when three women walked into it.
Down in the stacks
Other worlds, stacked on top of this one.
She came to the library obsessed with the idea of different realms living on top of each other without knowing it, one existence or many, separated by time and things Gwyn can't begin to explain. Then she turned to the Valkyries and started writing their history, the first comprehensive one. Gwyn fetches her books. Gwyn is terrified of her. Nesta is not.
Volume seven
The wrong book, and the argument that followed.
Gwyn put volume eight in Merrill's office instead of seven. Nesta swapped them back while Merrill was distracted. Merrill worked it out. She came up through the library to confront Nesta, claimed descent from Rabath, Lord of the Western Wind, and left when Nesta didn't flinch. She called Gwyn a nymph on the way out. At Solstice her Valkyrie history gained a final chapter. It was about the three of them.
