His twin swore an unbreakable oath to Maeve to protect him. Years later Maeve used that same oath to make him drive a knife through his own heart.
Connall is Fenrys's twin brother and one of Maeve's blood-sworn Cadre, from Throne of Glass — the quiet dark to Fenrys's loud gold, a black wolf to a white one. He is barely on the page, and his death is the single cruelest thing Maeve ever does — the wound that makes Fenrys who he becomes.
