Mora

Rowan's silver hair and hawk's wings come from a Fae queen most readers can't name. She was one of only two true Sister-Queens — and never once knew the third was a lie.

Mora is the elder of the two genuine Fae Sister-Queens and the founding ancestor of House Whitethorn, from Throne of Glass — the cunning hawk-queen whose silver hair and white-tailed form run straight down to Rowan. She was Maeve's unwitting weapon and never knew it, and her whole real history survives only underneath the lie Maeve wrote over the world.
