Gavin Havilliard

The founding legend of Adarlan is that its first king destroyed a demon god. He didn't destroy Erawan — he only managed to lock the door.

Gavin Havilliard is the first King of Adarlan and Elena Galathynius's husband, from Throne of Glass — a mortal warrior who won the first Valg war, founded House Havilliard, and helped build a thousand-year lie about how it ended. His tomb, his sword Damaris, and his summoned ghost all outlast him to guide the descendants left holding his unfinished war.
