Everyone remembers whose fire Aelin carries. Almost no one remembers who used to put it out.
Evalin Ashryver is Aelin's mother and the first Ashryver to choose Terrasen, from Throne of Glass — a water-blooded princess of Wendlyn, granddaughter of the Fae Mab, who crossed the sea, defied a Fae queen to marry into a fire-blooded house, and died the night Adarlan came for all of them.
