Ress is a young royal guard of the Glass Castle in Rifthold, from the Throne of Glass series — Chaol Westfall's loyal man, all boyish blushes and easy banter, who spies for the rebellion after Chaol flees and pays for it, tortured and hanged on the castle gates.
