The province Navarre couldn't fully digest — last to kneel, first to burn, and still carving its runes into the stone like it never agreed to forget.

The largest, southernmost, most rebellious corner of the kingdom: the Riorson duchy, the Great Betrayal's origin, and the home ground of every marked child it made.

At a glance

Region: Navarre's largest and southernmost province, walled off by the Cliffs of Dralor. Last to swear fealty, the only one ever to try leaving.
Who rules it: House Riorson. Xaden is Duke — a title Navarre stripped, then handed back to keep him close.
Capital: Aretia — burned in the apostasy, rebuilt in secret as the heart of the Revolution.
What happened here: The Tyrrish Rebellion. Fen Riorson's bid to secede, and the fire that answered it.
What it kept: Runes in the architecture, Tyrrish knots, and the scars nobody was allowed to sand off.
The cost: A generation of children orphaned, marked with rebellion relics, and conscripted to Basgiath to compete or die.
Reputation: Proud, marked, rebellious. Supplies the front's conscripts and resents every one of them.
