Quinn's gift is one of the strange, quiet ones: astral projection, the ability to send her spirit out and away from her physical self. Canon doesn't build a whole arc around her — she's a supporting face in Violet's widening circle, defined more by who she loves than by what she does. And what's real is that she's Imogen Cardulo's person, the softness the fiercest of the marked ones lets all the way in — the rest of her weight, the story saves for the end.
Draithus · The cost
The win that still took someone.
Onyx Storm's biggest fight ends with Theophanie dead and the alliance standing — and Quinn is the price. She's cut down by a venin at Draithus, and Imogen refuses to leave her, staying with her to the end. It's the moment the victory stops feeling clean: this series wins its battles and still buries people you'd started to count on. Quinn is the name that makes Draithus hurt.
