Poromiel's second city, a tornado that grounds every wing in the sky, and the day the squad finally kills Theophanie — and buries one of their own for it.

Onyx Storm's biggest fight — a wyvern horde over Poromiel's second city, civilians funnelling through the Medaro Pass, and Theophanie finally cornered. She raises a tornado to ground everything with wings and tells Violet to turn venin or watch. Violet pulls the sky apart instead.

The price

The win that still took someone.

It ends at the Cliffs of Dralor, where Violet drives Aaric's marble dagger from Dunne's temple into Theophanie and the war's worst maven finally falls. But Quinn doesn't come home — stabbed by a venin, with Imogen refusing to leave her. The alliance wins Draithus. It doesn't win it clean.

Kingdom: Poromiel — its second most populous city, guarded by the Cliffs of Dralor and the Medaro Pass.
What it is: The climactic battleground of Onyx Storm, where the venin war goes total.
What happened here: Theophanie raises a tornado to ground every winged creature and demands Violet turn venin. Violet kills her instead.
The weapon: The marble dagger — forged from the rubble of Dunne's temple, where Theophanie was once High Priestess. Aaric's precognition signet let him foresee the moment and hand it to Violet, who drove it home at the Cliffs of Dralor.
The cost: Quinn is cut down by a venin; Imogen won't leave her side. The alliance wins, and still pays.
Status: The city that proved the war is winnable — and what winning costs.
